It's been called the best marina in the Mediterranean - and it's easy to see why! Having a mooring at Marina Ibiza means gaining access to an exclusive lifestyle in the beautiful Balearic Islands. The marina provides private berths for mega yachts and superyachts and is a bustling hub of local social life. Everyone from the world's top supermodels to A-list actors and celebrities chill out at Marina Ibiza, and its popular launching ground for new brands or businesses. The celebrities who've been spotted there recently include actor Leonardo di Caprio and Italian fashion designers Roberto Cavalli and Giuseppe Zanotti.

2. Eden Island Marina, Seychelles

This stunning superyacht facility can be found off the east coast of Mahé, which is Seychelles' main island. The super-yacht pontoon section boasts more than 1,000 metres of piled pontoon berths. The marina has been developed with the Eden Island luxury residential project in the tropical Indian Ocean location. Leisure facilities also include bars and a large shopping plaza, with marine based activities such as snorkelling, kayaking and diving to enjoy!

3. Marina Grande, Capri, Italy

Said to be the most expensive marina in the world, the exclusive Marina Grande is so popular among the rich and famous that berthing must be arranged many months in advance. There are more than 300 berths, which can accommodate superyachts of up to 60 metres in length. The marina provides a gateway to the town, where there's a selection of luxury hotels and restaurants that offer spectacular views across the bay. Some of the world's biggest luxury yachts are moored here while their A-list celebrity and billionaire owners enjoy their summer holidays.

4. Port de Saint Tropez, France

Located on the beautiful French Riviera, Saint Tropez is one of the most famous marinas in the world. It boasts more than 700 berths for boats and spans a massive 22 acres. Saint Tropez is well-documented in the media for its long list of celebrities, millionaires, top models and superstars who regularly holiday there. It has been a popular destination for the world's elite since the 1950s and it's hardly surprising. With an abundance of top restaurants, designer retail stores and expensive nightclubs, it still manages to retain a quaint charm, thanks to its architecture and narrow streets.

Yas Marina on Yas Island is a 227-berth marina that caters for superyachts of up to 150 metres long. It gives visitors access to beautiful coastlines and islands and the modern cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
